models (knocked over); sprinklers

(wet cat, undeterred); sonic cat

deterrent (if only cats could laugh

at the futility of human ingenuity...);

tin foil (admittedly the cats did not

like this, but try covering your entire

garden in it like a lunatic conspiracy

theorist and come back to Guru).

It’s not new tech, as such:

Apple is upgrading a chunk

of its subscription-based

Apple Music library to support

Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos,

and doing it for the distinctly

non-Apple price of ‘free’. That gives

you an extra musical dimension,

much like Amazon’s limited 3D

Audio offering on hardware which

supports it – that’s anything with an

H1 or W 1 chip, or the new iMac. The

company is also introducing new

tiers of Apple Music, which will

offer lossless and hi-res lossless

tracks, though these stupidly won’t

work on HomePods or through any

of Apple’s headphones.

Guru’s first thought would be

Lego’s architecture range; the

problem, really, is that things like

the Empire State Building (set

dull, however good they may be

for mindfulness.

Short of performing your own

wizardry using a tool like Lego

Digital Designer (free) and going

nuts on a site like bricklink.com to

make your dreams a reality, a

vehicle set might be the order of

the day here. Try the Lamborghini

complex and rewarding build.
