  • Agricultural burning (one study estimates 0.04 tons/year from
    preharvest burning of sugarcane in Florida everglades area);

  • Landfills;

  • Hazardous waste incinerators;

  • Mercury compounds production;

  • By-product coke production; and

  • Petroleum refining.
