Scrum
Tasks of the development team
- consists of five to ten people (ideal are seven).
- is -as a rule -interdisciplinary (developers,
architects, testers, technical editors). - is its own manager (self-organization).
- decides independently about the dismantling of
the requirements into tasks and their distribution
to individual members. - meets daily at the daily scrum, where the team
members provide a short status report. - delivers an increment of potentially shippable
functionality after each sprint and presents it in
the sprint review meeting.
We are the development team, simply
called team. We are at the heart of the
scrum process, because we take care of
the implementation of the requirements in
product functionality..
What the development team DOES NOT do
- Writing technical concepts -this is what
the product backlog of the product owner
is for. - have the product owner prescribe his way
of working. - report to the scrum master and/or the
product owner in the daily scrum -the
team members report to each other. - neglect the sprint backlog.
- Misunderstand undisturbed work during
the sprint with sitting in an ivory tower.
