Scrum of scrums

Similar to the Daily Scrum the Scrum of Scrums answers questions:

• What has my team achieved since we last met?


• What will my team accomplish until the next meeting?


• Which obstacles impede my team from doing their work?


• Could an activity of my team influence or interfere with another team?

Especially the last question is of high importance, because the coordination

of the teamstakes priority!

It is also important that the deadlines are set in advance so that the team

representatives can be prepared.

Frequencyand timeboxof events should be set as needed.

It is recommended to keep the first part of the Scrum of

Scrums meeting, in which each participant answers the 4

questions, as short as possible.

In the second part of the meeting, all backlog items, as well

as problems or challenges associated with their

implementation, are discussed. The role of the

representative for each Scrum team can be assigned to

one specific member, or vary throughout the team

members, depending on how it suits the team best.

Amethod that is commonly agreed upon during the course

of theScrumofScrums meeting is that no names are

mentioned. This is beneficial because issues and problems

are tackled more objectively and effectively.
