Agile principles
The four guiding principles of the agile manifesto conceal twelve principles. They
complement the theoretical foundation of agile approach and are regarded as fixed
structures from which one should not deviate.

Agile release train(ART)
For larger projects, which are carried out according to SAFe, the ART serves to coordinate
several small Scrum teams. An ART contains roles similar to Product Owner, Scrum Master
and Development Team: System Architect/Engineer, Release Train Engineer, Product
Management.
Agile solutiontrain(AST)
For very complex projects, which are carried out according to SAFe, the AST serves to
coordinate several ARTs. An AST contains the roles analogous to the ART: Solution
Architect/Engineer, Solution Train Engineer, Solution Management.
Agile Manifesto
The Agile Manifesto consists of four guiding principles and forms the theoretical foundation
of all agile approaches. The guidelines were drawn up in 2001 by a group of IT specialists.
artifacts
Agile artifacts include the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Definition of Done and
Increment.
burn-down chart
A burn-down chart is a graphical representation of the remaining effort in a project, in
relation to the time remaining. Such a diagram is used to predict when the work will be
completed, or if it will be at the scheduled time.

can be used meaningfully and what place a requirements engineer can take in an agile
project.
Chapter lead
The Chapter Lead leads the employees in partial disciplinary responsibility. He is primarily
responsible for managing employees, skill development based on market and customer
requirements, and resource planning, thus ensuring that employees are fully utilized.
