Classic project management
Classical project management refers to non-agile methods, such as waterfall models or
comparable methods, which primarily rely on a lot of advance planning and understand
adaptations to the "project plan" as an exception rather than a rule.
complexity
The degree of surprise in a system; unpredictability of the relationship between actions and
reactions.
Definition of Done (DoD)
The DoD must be known and recognized throughout the team. It describes when a user
story/work can be described as finished. At the beginning of a project, the DoD is
determined together and adapted in the course of development.
Definition of Ready (DoR)
With the DoR, the team determines when a task with sufficient information content is
available, so that a conversion can be tackled.
Design Thinking
Design thinking stands for a method, a working process and a way of thinking. This
approach should lead to solving problems and developing new ideas. The aim is to
generate better design ideas and validate their quality by means of prototypes that are
convincing from the user's point of view.
development team
A cross-functional team that is at the heart of the scrum process as it ensures that
requirements are translated into product functionality. The requirements for the
development team are exclusively contained in the product backlog. In every sprint, an
increase is achieved to solve the customer's requirements.
Devops
DevOps is the philosophy of connecting development and operation at the culture, practice
& tool level to achieve an accelerated and more frequent use of change in production.
epics
Epics or epic stories are defined as large user stories that would be difficult to estimate in
this form or hardly complete within an iteration. Epics are usually not very high prioritized
and are broken down into smaller components.
