The Choose Marshall Chamber recently held a ribbon cutting event for Lash’d in downtown
Marshall. Michaela Casarez opened the studio in November 2020.
Lash’d is located at 119 West Michigan Avenue and may be reached at 269-558-8090,

August programs at Marshall District Library

to 8:30 p.m. Meet at the
Ketchum Park Pavilion!
Then, piece together puzzles
while munching on pizza.
This program celebrates
friendly competition as teams
try to be the first to finish
their puzzle. Everyone ages
5-plus is invited to join.

introduction to hiking the
NCT. Those in attendance

Building, 900 S. Marshall
Street, Marshall, MI 49068.
Please wear comfortable
shoes and anticipate walking
about one mile in total.

August’s adult craft proj-
ect on Tuesday, Aug. 24 at
6:30 p.m. is a beginner’s
painting project. We’ll recre-
ate hydrangeas, a garden
favorite, using acrylic paint.
Those in attendance will
meet in-person by the fire-
place at Ketchum Mill Race
Pavilion for this project. All

Calhoun County will be
offering free recycling ser-
vices for scrap tires on
Monday, Aug. 9 from Noon-
p.m. at the Tekonsha Village
Offices located at 537 N.
Church St., Tekonsha. This
event is for residential mate-
rial only and is open to all
Calhoun County residents.
