Enter an alpha value used to calculate the critical values of the t shown in

the output.

t-Test: Two-Sample Assuming Unequal

Variances

The t-Test: Two-Sample Assuming Unequal Variances command calculates

the unpaired two-sample Student’s t-test. The test allows the variances in

the two groups to be unequal. The output includes both the one-tail and the

two-tail critical values.

Variable 1 Range

Enter the input range of the fi rst sample; it must be a single row or column.

Variable 2 Range

Enter the input range of the second sample; it must be a single row or column.
