5 With the Crop tool still selected, click and drag the image to select the area you want to
include in the fi nal image. Notice that you cannot control the proportions of your crop;
you are forced to use the same proportions as the pixel amounts you entered.

6 Once you determine the crop area, press Return or Enter, or click the check mark icon
( ) in the upper-right corner of the Options bar.

If you want to cancel a crop, press the Esc key or click the Cancel Current Crop Operation button

( ), also in the upper-right corner of the Control panel.

7 Choose Image > Image Size; in the Image Size dialog box, you see that the image area is
now cropped to the required dimensions.
