نيدَ ِك

57 “By Allah, I will have a plan for

your statues after you have gone

away.”

ونعُ

ِ

جيَ رْ

58 So he reduced them into pieces,

except for their biggest, that they

may return to it.

59 They said, “Who did this to our

gods? He is certainly one of the

wrongdoers.”

ا فنَعْمِ

ُ

ال

يمُ هِ ۥٓ ق

رَبْ

ِ

إ

60 They said, “We heard a youth

mentioning them. He is called

Abraham.”

61 They said, “Bring him before the

eyes of the people, so that they may

witness.”

62 They said, “Are you the one who

did this to our gods, O Abraham?”

ا ف

ق يَ نطِ

۟

وا

ُ

ان

َ

ك

63 He said, “But it was this biggest of

them that did it. Ask them, if they

can speak.”

وجَ عُ رَ

ونمُِل

ٰ

َّ

ٱلظ

64 Then they turned to one another,

and said, “You yourselves are the

wrongdoers.”

مَ تَ مْ عَلِ ٦٥

ِ

هوسِ ءُ رُ

ٰ

ى

َ

عَل

۟

وا

ُ

سكِ

ُ

نم َّ

ُ

ا ث

َ

ون

ُ

ق يَ نطِ ءِ

ؤ

ٓ

ٰ

َ

ه

65 But they reverted to their old

ideas: “You certainly know that these

do not speak.”

مْ ٱلل

ُ

كعُ

َ

يَ نف

ا لامَ

لا

َ

ا و

ًٔ

ـ

ْ

ي

َ

ش

66 He said, “Do you worship, instead

of Allah, what can neither benefit

you in anything, nor harm you?

٦٧

ون

ُ

ُ

بعْ

َ

ا تمَِل

َ

ومْ

ُ

ك

َّ

ل

ٍّ

ف

ُ

هِ أ

َّ

ۖ ٱلل

َ

لا

َ

ف

َ

أ

َ

ون

ُ

لقِعْ

َ

ت

67 Fie on you, and on what you

worship instead of Allah. Do you not

understand?”

ٱن ق

ا

ٓ

مْ ورُصُ

ُ

نت

ُ

ن ك

ِ

إمْ

ُ

كتَ

هِالءَ

َ

ينِلعِ

ٰ

َ

ف

68 They said, “Burn him and support

your gods, if you are going to act.”

يمَ هِ ٦٩

ٰ

رَْب

ِ

إ

ٓ

ٰ

ى

َ

مًا عَل

ٰ

َ

ل

َ

س

َ

ا و

ً

دى بَرْ ِون

ُ

كارُ َن

ٰ

ا يَنَ

ْ

ل

ُ

ق

69 We said, “O fire, be coolness and

safety upon Abraham.”

ۦ أوَ

ُ

ُ

ه

ن

ْ

جَ ع َ ل

َ

ا ف

ْ

ٱلأ

70 They planned to harm him, but We

made them the worst losers.
