عَ ب
ْ
ۖ ٱل
ُ

ا بٌ و َّ ۥٓ إ
َ
أ
30 And We granted David, Solomon,
an excellent servant. He was
penitent.

ىعَ شِ
ْ
ٱل
ُ
ت
ٰ

ٰ
ٱلص َّ

َ

ِ
ج
ْ
ٱل
31 When the beautiful horses were
paraded before him in the evening.

ْ
ب
َ
بحْ
َ
أ
ٓ
ى
ِّ
ن
ِ

َ
ال
َ
ق
َ
ف
ِ
ر
ْ
ي
َ
خ
ْ
ى ٱل
ِّ
ب رَ
ِ
ر
ْ
كعَ ن ذِ
ِ
ب
ْ
تا رَ
َ
و
َ
ت
ٰ
ىحَ ت َّ
ِ
جَ ا بحِ
ْ
ٱ ل
32 He said, “I have preferred the love
of niceties to the remembrance of
my Lord—until it disappeared behind
the veil.

س مَ

قفِ
َ
ط
َ
ف ۖ
َّ
ى
َ
ا عَ لوهَ
ُّ
درُ
ِ
وق
ُّ
ٱلس
َ
و
ِ
اقَنعْ
َْ
ٱلأ
33 Bring them back to me.” And he
began caressing their legs and
necks.
هِي ِّسِرْ ٣٤
ُ
ك
ٰ
ى
َ
ا عَلنَ
ْ
ي
َ
ق
ْ
ل
َ
أ
َ
و
َ
ن
ٰ
مَ
ْ
ي
َ
ل
ُ
ا س َّنتَ
َ
ف
ْ
د
َ
ق
َ
ل
َ
ۦ و
َ
ا ب
َ
ن
َ
أ م َّ
ُ
ا ثدً
َ
جَ س
34 We tested Solomon, and placed a
body on his throne; then he
repented.

ى غِ ى ِل ٱغ
َ
ب
ۢ
يَن
َّ
ا لا
ً
ك
ْ
لى مُ ِ لبْ هَ
َ
و
ن تَ
َ
أ َك
َّ
ن
ِ
إ ۖ
ٓ
ىدِ ب َ ع ْ نۢ
ِّ
حَ د ٍ م
َ
ا بُ لأِ
َّ
ه
َ
و
ْ
ٱ ل
35 He said, “My Lord, forgive me, and
grant me a kingdom never to be
attained by anyone after me. You
are the Giver.”

هِ ٱلر
ِ

ِ
ى ب

حَ ي
36 So We placed the wind at his
service, blowing gently by his
command, wherever he directed.

ٍص ا و َّ ٱلش
َ
غ
َ
و ءٍ
ٓ
ا
َّ
ب َ ن
َّ
ل
ُ
ك
37 And the demons—every builder
and diver.
ى ٣٨

ف
َ
ين
ِ
ن
َّ
ر
َ
ق
ُ
م
َ
ين
ِ
ر
َ
اخءَوَ
ِ
اد
َ
ف
ْ
ص
َ
ْ
ٱلأ
38 And others fettered in chains.
٣٩
َ
ا ف
َ
ن
ُ
ؤ
ٓ
ا
َ
ا عَ ط
َ
ذ
ٰ
َ
ه
ْ
ن
ُ
ن
ْ
ٱم
ٍ
اب
َ
س
ِ
ح
ِ
ر
ْ
ي
َ
غ
ِ
ب
ْ
ك
ِ
س
ْ
م
َ
أوْ
َ
أ
39 “This is Our gift; so give
generously, or withhold; without
account.”

ٰ
ى

ف
ْ

نندَ عِ
40 For him is nearness to Us, and a
beautiful resort.

ٰ

َ
ن

إوبَ ي ُّ
َ

ٓ
ا
َ
ن
َ

سى مَ
ِّ
ن

ط
ْ
ي
َّ
ٱلش
ٍ
اب
َ
عَ ذ وَ
ٍ
بصْ
ُ
ن
ِ
ب
41 And mention Our servant Job,
when he called out to his Lord,
“Satan has afflicted me with
hardship and pain.”

ابٌ رَ كٱرْ
َ
ش وَ
ٌ
د
ِ
بَار
ۢ
ٌ
ل
َ
س
َ
ت
ْ
غ
ُ
ا م
َ
ذ
ٰ
َ
ه ۖ َك
ِ
ل
ْ
ج
ِ
ر
ِ
ب
42 “Stamp with your foot—here is
cool water to wash with, and to
drink.”
