49 And We know that some of you

will reject it.

٥٠

ى ۥ إوَ

َ

ع َ ل

ةرَ حَ سْ

َ

ل

َ

ين

ِ

ر

ِ

ف

ٰ

َ

ك

ْ

ٱل

50 And it is surely a source of grief for

the unbelievers.

ۥ إوَ

ُّ

حَ ق

َ

ل

ِ

ينقِ

َ

ي

ْ

ٱل

51 Yet it is the absolute truth.

بحْ ب ِّ

َ

ِم ف

ْ

َك ٱ س

ِّ

ي مِ عَ ظِ برَ

ْ

ٱ ل

52 So glorify the name of your Lord,

the Magnificent.

ٱلل

ِ

ن

ٰ

َ

ي مِ حِ ٱ ل ر َّ محْٱلر َّ

In the name of Allah, the Gracious,

the Merciful.

1 A questioner questioned the

imminent torment.

ٰ

ك

ل

ِّ

عٌافِ دَ ۥ ل

2 For the disbelievers; none can

repel it.

ى ذِ ٱلل

ِ

ج

ِ

عَ ارمَ

ْ

ٱل

3 From Allah, Lord of the Ways of

Ascent.

َ

ت

ُ

ة

َ

كئِ

ٓ

ٰ

َ

لمَ

ْ

ٱ ل

َ

و

ُ

وحٱلر ُّ

َ

ان

َ

كمٍى يَوْ فِ هِ

ْ

ي

َ

ل

ِ

إ

ُ

هارُ دَ

ْ

ةٍ َن ۥ قمِ

َ

س

َ

ف

ْ

ل

َ

أ

َ

ي نسِ مْ

َ

خ

4 Unto Him the angels and the Spirit

ascend on a Day the duration of

which is fifty thousand years.

رْ ف

ِ

بٱصْ

ً

ي لار ً ا جَ مِ

ْ

بصَ

5 So be patient, with sweet patience.

و يَ رَ مْ

ُ

ه

ِ

ايدً بَعِ ۥ إ

6 They see it distant.

ا ٧

ق

ُ

هىٰرَ

ن

َ

و

7 But We see it near.

ون

ُ

ك

َ

ءُ تمَيَ وْ

ٓ

امَ

َّ

ٱلس

َ

ك

ِ

ل

ْ

همُ

ْ

ٱل

8 On the Day when the sky will be

like molten brass.

توَ

ُ

ال

َ

ب

ِ

ج

ْ

ٱل

َ

ك

ِ

ن

ْ

ه

ِ

ع

ْ

ٱل

9 And the mountains will be like

tufted wool.

ي م ً احَ م ِ ي مٌ حَ م ِ ١٠

و

10 No friend will care about his friend.

ونرُص َّ

مُ بيُ

رجْ مُ

ٱل

نى مِ دِ تَ

ْ

ي َ ف وْ

يهِ ِن

ب

ِ

ب

ۭ

ذٍئِمِ يَ وْ

ِ

اب

َ

عَ ذ

11 They will be shown each other.

The criminal wishes he would be

redeemed from the punishment of

that Day by his children.

هِتِ ١٢

َ

بحِ

ٰ

صَ

َ

يهِ خِ ۦ و

َ

أ

َ

و

12 And his spouse, and his brother.
