appreciation.Thismarked thestartofthelargescalemanufactureoftyres.Itsmanufacture
involvedmanystages,oneofthembeingthevulcanizationofrubberwhichinsimplerterms
meanshardeningofrubberwhichwasmadepossiblewiththehelpofsulphur.LaterMichelin
cametothemarketintroducingitsnewradialtechnology,acquiringanonfunctionalautomobile
companytheyfusedtheirtechnologywiththecars.Laterthisideaspreadacrosstheglobeand
many car companies adopted it.

    increasingthegrip.Theratioofplainareatotheareathathasgroovesdependsupon
    theterrainwheretheautomobilehastobetakenlikethegroovepercentislessformud
    ascomparedtosnow.Thestructureoftreadisalsodesignedkeepinginmindaboutthe
    noise pollution that occurs on highways.
