widely used material is polyester.

Types of car seats
Thecarseatscanbeclassifiedintotwotypes:thebucketandbenchseats.Theseatsthatare
present in the front are named as the bucket seats. They have aplatform such that it
accommodates a single person. These seats come with rounded backs and are also
complementedbyavarietyofadjustmentssuchthatitcanaccommodateapersonofanyshape
andsize.Ontheotherhand,thebenchseathasaflatandlongplatformandcanaccommodate
a maximum of 3 persons.
Anothertypeofseatiscalledfoldingseats.Asthenamesuggeststheyarethetypeofseatsthat
can be folded. Thistypeof seat was foundin the touring cars withthe sole purpose of
increasing passenger capacity byfoldingthe auxiliary seat. Some sedanmodelcars likein
ChevroletCorvairtherearseatscanbefoldedtoincreasethecargospacewhenthoseseatsare
notoccupiedbypassengers.AlsoincarslikeChryslerPTCruiser,thefrontpassengerseatscan
befoldedifincaseanylongrodorpole-likestructureistobetransportedwiththehelpofthat
car.
