Genesis|36:35 And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the
field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city [was] Avith.

Genesis|36:36 And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

Genesis|36:37 And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth [by] the river reigned in his stead.

Genesis|36:38 And Saul died, and Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

Genesis|36:39 And Baalhanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and
the name of his city [was] Pau; and his wife's name [was] Mehetabel, the daughter of
Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

Genesis|36:40 And these [are] the names of the dukes [that came] of Esau, according to
their families, after their places, by their names; duke Timnah, duke Alvah, duke Jetheth,

Genesis|36:41 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

Genesis|36:42 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

Genesis|36:43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these [be] the dukes of Edom, according to their
habitations in the land of their possession: he [is] Esau the father of the Edomites.

Genesis|37:1 And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of
Canaan.

Genesis|37:2 These [are] the generations of Jacob. Joseph, [being] seventeen years old, was
feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad [was] with the sons of Bilhah, and with the
sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.

Genesis|37:3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he [was] the son
of his old age: and he made him a coat of [many] colours.

Genesis|37:4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his
brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.
