Discover iOS 15
New in Weather
The Weather app has been redesigned
to offer condition-sensitive displays,
more graphics to help you better
understand conditions (like wind, UV
index and pressure), and full-screen,
high-res maps that show pressure,
animated precipitation and air quality to
provide a whole new way of seeing the
weather around you.
Better memories
In Photos Memories, Apple has essentially
created your own, personal, action-packed
music videos. By incorporating Apple Music
in your memories, you can pick the songs
that take you back to those special times, and
your memories will be pieced together using
pictures, Live Photos, and videos – all of which
move to the beat. Pause the action and the
music continues, unpause and everything
instantly syncs back to the beat and tempo of
the music. It’s very impressive, and Memory
Mixes even lets you choose from intelligently-
chosen alternatives, with different songs,
tempos and filters to completely change the
dynamic of the memory.
The iOS 15 update will be rolled out this
autumn and will work on the iPhone 6s and
later. What’s more, iPad users will be able to
enjoy all of these great features as well as
many unique ones for the increased screen
size of their device. It’s a huge update that will
undoubtedly have a massive impact on how
you communicate with people and interact
with the world around you. Roll on the fall.
