Launch the website

Open a web browser on your iPhone to

visit scroobly.com. Google’s animation tool

also works in iPadOS or macOS but, in any

case, begin by just tapping ‘Start’.

Access the camera

Scroobly lets you create doodles that

you can move, using your face and body.

You’re going to have to grant it access to

your camera, so press ‘Allow’.

Select a shape

For instant results, select a shape

from the bottom of the screen. Switch the

background on or off,and choosewhether

you want to use the front or back camera.

around its machine learning library, TensorFlow.js.

Scroobly is one of them, which lets you produce

your own digital animations, that you can map

to your own live motions: just doodle, allow the

camera access, pull some facial expressions and

move around – and your actions will be replicated

on the screen.

You can have loads of fun playing around with

different shapes and creations, quickly testing

what works well. You can then make some

recordings, which you can share with friends!
