Your Own’, and choose oneof the suggested

Use the outline
Now, an outline of your character’s body
will appear. By default, you can draw the
character in black on the screen, but tap the
pen tool in the top right corner for options.

Be creative
Use the outline as guidance, and draw
some facial details too. Choose colours and

Animate and record your doodles
Choose or create a character, and have some fun with it!
What information is Google
gathering with Scroobly?
None. Google points out that it doesn’t
store any of the images or data that
you create using Scroobly. This means
you can be as crazy as you like, without
fear that someone will be able to view
your videos – unless you want them to!
When you create a GIF, it will only be
downloaded to your device. Then, only
you decide if you want to share it.
Knowledge base
Make a recording
Scroobly’s main screen has a ‘Record’ button.
Tap it, and it will count down from three, giving
you time to frame your video.
Trim your video
Move the scissor icons (positioned left and right
of the edit line), to select a portion of the video
that you want to use. As you do so, the number
of seconds will be displayed.
Create a GIF
If you’d like to share your animation, you can do
so as a GIF. Tap the GIF icon to generate it, and
then press and hold on the image that appears,
to save it.
Start over
Not happy with the doodle or
your recording? Then either tap
‘New Doodle’ to start afresh or
select ‘Re-record’. Don’t forget,
you’ll need to give the tool
access to your camera to record.
