macOS TouchCopy
I have loads of obscure music on my iPod, which I don’t
physically own anymore, can I copy it to my Mac? David Reynolds
Yes, but you will need to download a third-party
app, such as TouchCopy to perform this action.
This app isn’t available on the App Store, so go
to wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopyand
download the free trial version to your Mac.
Now, connect your iPod and do the following:
1
Connect and select
With your iPod connected to your Mac,
launch the app and it will immediately start
searching for devices. When your iPod is found,
select it and then click ‘Connect’.
3
Select tracks to copy
Highlight the music you wish to copy (hold
cmd and click individual tracks to add them),
then you can click on the ‘Copy to Music’ or
‘Copy to Mac’ options at the top.
2
Browse your files
The contents of your iPod will now be
displayed by genre, artist and album. As a handy
shortcut, you can click on ‘Not in Music App’ to
list everything not on your Mac.
4
Play your music
You will be notified when your selected
tracks have finished copying, so head to Music,
click ‘Artists’ or ‘Albums’ in the Library section
and start playing your new-found music.

How do I change my
email signature on my
iPhone? I don’t want it
to say, ‘Sent from my
iPhone’ anymore.
Go to Settings>Mail and
then scroll down and tap
on the ‘Signature’ option
at the bottom of the page.
By default, your ‘Sent from
my iPhone’ signature will
be applied to all of your
email accounts, so select
‘Per Account’ and all of
your active email accounts
will be listed, and you
will be able to assign a
new signature to them
individually. Now,simply
tap on the ‘Sent from my
iPhone’ text field, delete
the existing textand then
replace it with whatever
you want. Exit the settings
screen to save them.
