The X60 Pro packs in
an impressive triple
camera set-up, with a
main lens, ultra-wide,
and 2x zoom portrait
camera – all bolstered
by Zeiss branding. You mighthaveseen
elsewhere that it includesa 5xperiscopic
zoom lens, but unfortunatelythisis only
included in the Chinese releaseofthe
phone, not the internationalversion.
The involvement of Zeissis a little
hard to pin down here. Beyondthelogo,
and the inclusion of a Zeiss-branded
‘Biotar’ portrait mode, witha circular
bokeh effect, Vivo doesn’tpointto
any specific Zeiss contributionsto the
camera. Instead, it says Zeisshashelped
it test and refine its opticaltech, and
ensured that the camerashavemet
Zeiss’s own standards forcertification.
In any case, the highlighthereis the
main lens, by a comfortablemargin.
This 48Mp camera has anexceptional
aperture of f/1.5, and is supportedbythe
second generation of Vivo’sowngimbal
stabilization system.
