● Together with the yin qiao mai controls the musculature of
the lower extremities
● Together with the yang qiao mairegulates the opening and
closing of the eyes
● Regulates the functioning of the Brain, eliminates internal
and external Wind from the head
● Removes obstructions and stagnation from the spine, espe-
cially after traumatic injuries
