In commemoration of this, theydecided to offer the 50th AnniversaryModel,whichwas designed basedon the F5 with changes in the colourof the upper body cover and bodycap to a sober dark silver colour, andtherubber of theoval section of thegrip to a darkgrey, adding a qualityappearance to the camera.On the front of the viewfinder was inscribedthe same Nikon logo as adopted in Nikon I,and the back of the body was marked withthe former company marking of NipponKogaku K.K. and the markingfor 50thAnniversary of Nikon Camera.``````This was the onlyvariation model of the F5.In June 1998, the 50th Anniversary ModelNikon F5 (with a special wide strapfor theanniversary model)went on sale in a limitedquantity of 2,000 (3,000 in total includingthose on thefore ign markets).``````The unusedexample shown here andbeautifully photographedby Tony Hurstcomes complete in a display box withyellowsatin lining, unopened special edition NikonF5 neck strap, body cap, instruction manual(Japanese text) and outer shipping carton.The original shutter guard is still in placeand would need to beremoved on first use).£1,198.00.Photograph by To ny Hurst.### TO ORDER TELEPHONE020-7828 4925
