11 A lasso is made from a rope that is 10 m long. The loop of
the lasso has a radius of 0 : 6 m when circular. Find the length
of the rope that is not part of the loop.

12 A circular golfing green has a diameter of 20 m. The pin
must be positioned on the green at least 3 metres from its
edge. Find the area of the green on which the pin is allowed
to be positioned.
