means, “Easy accomplishes it.” If you will hew to a practice
of writing three pages every morning and doing one kind
thing for yourself every day, you will begin to notice a
slight lightness of heart.
Practice being kind to yourself in small, concrete ways.
Look at your refrigerator. Are you feeding yourself nicely?

new house plant? A thermos for the long drive to work?
Allow yourself to pitch out some of your old ragged clothes.
You don’t have to keep everything.
There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening,

there is only one of you in all time, this expression is
unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through
any other medium and will be lost.
