Present Over Perfect

years. The new voices and influences that I’m learning
from, the new reading and new practices are bringing me to
new life spiritually in all sorts of ways—not because they’re
better, and not because they’re new to me, but because our
God is so big, bigger than one church or one way or one
tradition, and he uses such a wide and holy variety of
people and voices and practices, and for that I’m profoundly
thankful.
