  1. If you wish to change degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Rankine, use
    this formula:


°F = °R + 495.7°



  1. Then, by changing the preceding formula, degrees Rankine can be
    converted to degrees Fahrenheit.


°R = °F + 459.7°


By using a combination of the above listed formulas, temperature values
given for any scale can be changed to a temperature on one of the three
other scales. Figure C-1 gives a comparison of the various temperature
scales.
