Helleborus corsicus (Corsican hellebore)
- DIFFUSER:
Traditional tool for applying liquid
fixative, or to spray mists of ink.
ERASING AND FIXING
Erasers can be used to blend and
soften lines, or to remove them
altogether. Fixative prevents
smudging and secures lines.
Using fixative You can use fixative while
drawing to hold the definition of lines you
wish to gently fade but not remove entirely,
for which you would use an eraser.
- PUTTY RUBBER:
Warm it in your hand before use. It
is excellent for removing powdery
materials, and for making crisp sweeps
of light across a delicate pencil drawing - PLASTIC ERASER:
Avoid cheap colored erasers that
may stain drawings with grease and
dye. White brands are available in
soft and hard versions.
