TREATMENT
Sugar-tong splint, referral to orthopedics for ORIF. Because this is an unstable
fracture, closed reduction is usually unsuccessful.

Ulnar nerve injury, compartment syndrome

■ Suspect if patient has significant pain and swelling to the elbow
■ X-ray shows proximal ulnar shaft fracture with radial head dislocation.
