thatshewoulddanglethatinfrontofmyfather.Isawhis

physicianwasaclearbenefit.Hequicklyrealizeditwas
justafantasyand,howeverreluctantly,heturnedaway
fromit.Instead,heaskedaboutwhatthetreatmentwould
do to his life.


“Rightnow,Iamfoggyin myhead.Ihavetinnitus.I
haveradiatingarmpains.Ihavetroublewalking.That’s
what’sgettingmedown.Willthedrugsmakeanyofthis
worse?”
