Trees
Select deciduous trees within
30 feet of the house.
Placement of trees is important. Trees should be
planted so that there will be at least a 10-foot separa-
tion between canopies at maturity. The tree canopy of
mature trees should not be within 10 feet of the house.
Do not use evergreen trees within 30 feet of the house.
