The input impedance of a Darlington pair is very large.
When the Darlington pair is connected in a common collector configuration, the output
impedance is very small.
The two transistors of a Darlington pair are often mounted in the same case so that both
transistors undergo exactly the same changes in temperature and applied voltage.
