had enhanced our comprehension of how the subatomic particles
behave and how they come together through actions of different
forces into classical bodies.
Time immemorial, when John Dalton discovered an atom, it was
known that it was an indestructible fundamental entity of matter.
The materialism of Dalton was based on the fact that all we
observe were a result of a combination of atoms into various
configurations.
But in 20th century, with the discovery of a dense massive
atomic nucleus in Rutherford's alpha scattering experiment, an
electron by J.J Thompson and a neutron by Chadwick, it was
then concluded that an atom was not the fundamental entity of
matter, but was just an entity made of fundamental blocks of
matter.
With building of particle accelerators, it was also discovered
that, in fact, the atom was really destructible. Atoms can be
smashed into their building blocks which are electrons, protons
and neutrons. The discovery of electromagnetism is a milestone
