PRIDE CHEKERAcurving trajectory, and in nowadays circular accelerators
magnetic fields are employed to cause the accelerated electrons
to trace the curvature of the collider. In these huge machines
particles are accelerated to high energy, in opposite directions so
that at a certain point they collide with very high momentum
such that they annihilate into energy which form other particles.
These fantastic collisions are pictorially captured and studied by
particle physicists. And from these researches much had been
discovered and our understanding of the cosmos enhanced. It is
the goal of particle physicists that one day in future they will be
able to accelerate particles to energies of about 10-100TeV, thus
decoding the secretes of the cosmos to its very early moments.
It was observed that at very high temperature, electrons can be
knocked out of their orbitals, and bombardment of a highly
charged beam of electrons with an atomic nuclei showed that
protons and neutrons were not fundamental particles, but were
built from even smaller particles. This was the golden era of
quantum physics which enabled us comprehend the deepest
scales of matter and fundamental blocks of matter.
Thus physicists advanced from an atomic scale of about
10 −^10 m (1 angstrom) to subatomic scales of about order
10 −^15 m (1 Fermi).
From that era, large telescopes and large particle accelerators
