A search for a unified theory
The major goal of physics since 2000 years ago was to expound
a grand unification, a theory of everything. This quest, as for
20th century, was meant to unify gravity and other spin 1 gauge
forces of the Standard Model, SU(3)×SU(2)×U(1).
In previous parts l had conspicuously showed you that the Big
Bang is the outstanding theory, empirically proven, for the
genesis of our universe.
Time reversal symmetry enables us to traverse back in time to
the moment everything was at an extremely dense region. That
is the region of maximal entropy, and extremely high energy or
temperatures of Plank scales of about 10 −^35 cm at around
10 −^30 sec at instant of Big Bang. At that moment, the four
fundamental forces of nature were a unified super force which
later transmogrified into gravity and electroweak forces.
All of the theories of gravity breaks at those Plank epochs, with
inability to give a better description of how gravity works at
those extremely high energy moments. That became the goal, to
in cooperate gravity into standard model.
