PRIDE CHEKERAAlthough this was known, there was no promising candidate of
this physics, despite the solar neutrino problem of nonzero
neutrino mass. Also nonrenormalizable quantum field theory
would break at singularity of classical physics. This pushed a
need for a better theory. There were also other problems of
naturalness in which some values of the Lagrangian takes
smaller value than expected and short-distance divergence
problem. The physics society struggled in search of this theory
which would solve these problems for once and for all, and that
theory must include gravity at very small scales and high
energy.
Made of strings
At last, a theory was found which tended to solve the persisting
problem previously faced in nonrenormalizable QFT, e.g.
naturalness and divergence problem. Distinguishing from the
QFT, this theory was not concerned with point particles but with
one dimensional vibrating low energy strings.
That is the String Theory, a theory in which these one
dimensional strings vibrate with certain unique oscillation
modes and frequencies which is a manifestation of the existing
hundreds and hundreds of 'God' Particles of Particle physics.
