PRIDE CHEKERAMelitus is regarded as the original harbor of our knowledge of
the world during the 6th century B.C.E. Many people
intermingled in the city as it was the center of trade. That’s
when those driven by curiosity begun to discuss various issues
concerning our world. Unfortunately, Melitus was destroyed by
the Persians and this exchange of knowledge was halted until the
Roman Emperor emerged and defeated the Persians. Traversing
about 2000 years back into the past, we reached the city of
Melitus, and from there coming back to the present we
encounter all of the above philosophers and their contributions
in our understanding of nature and ourselves. Of course, they
marked the ‘rhizoid’ of our current knowledge, transforming us
from Xi’s based civilization to intellectually advanced modern
civilization.
Aristotle-Ptolemaic Model
Aristotle, Ptolemy and Plato adversely anchored mystical beliefs
based on the cosmic architecture. According to Aristotle-
Ptolemaic model of the universe, the Earth was the center of the
universe, and all other stars, and the five known planets at that
time, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, as they are
visible to the naked eye, all orbit around the Earth. In this
