In twentieth century a new idea rose which challenged the
corpuscular theory of light; it is the quantum mechanics, co-
founded by many outstanding physicists including Albert
Einstein, Neil Borh, Max Plank, James Clerk Maxwell, John
Bell and many more.

Newton’s theory of gravity
Within the period 1665-1666 Newton discovered the binomial
theorem and differential and integral calculus, and also started to
study the phenomenon of gravity. Calculus was a new branch of
