The quest of unitary description of the cosmos
The goal of physics since 2000 years ago was to find a unified
description of the universe, a simple explanation of the existence
of everything from a microcosm to a macrocosm. Traversing
back in time to 2000 years ago, this was a quest of the ancient
Greeks, as great thinkers of the time, philosophers searched for
this unitary description behind all in existence. Democritus is
one of these giants, who seek for our place with this vastness of
bizarre. He imagined space-time as a "being", which only had a
