Gravity is the curvature of space-time
Einstein had made it. It implies that gravity was not a force of
attraction as Newton had discovered, but it is the curvature of
space due to presence of mass in space.
Since mass and energy are equivalent, also energy can curve
space; we have gravitational energy, thus also gravity curve
space.
A curved space tells mass how to move in it and mass tells space
how to curve. That's, the Moon is not orbiting the Earth due to a
gravitational force of attraction, but because the Moon is
following a curved space due to the mass of the Earth present in
space.
The heavier the mass the greater the curvature. Thus also the
Sun cause much curvature in our solar system, as it is the
heaviest, and all planets in our solar system follow the curved
trajectories in curvature caused by the mass of the Sun.
