Black holes

When a star of mass greater than the Chandrasekhar limit
explodes into a supernova, its luminosity increases very much
and its matter ‘expelled’ as stellar remnants of the supernovae.
Later, these celestial remnants start collapsing into a single
region due to the gravitational force of attraction. The density of
this region exaggerates to extreme magnitudes that a point is
reached when the gravitational strength is so strong that
anything which falls inside this region, even light, will never
escape. At that moment, this region attains a name, a Black hole.
This region of space-time is so greedy that it ‘gobbles’ all matter
which comes its way. Depending on the mass of the collapsing
star, some will become white dwarfs (stabilized by the Pauli
exclusion principle), red and brown dwarfs or neutron stars. The
latter are very compact objects almost composed of neutrons
formed from proton-electron capture. A teaspoon of matter from
a neutron star weighs about a billion tones! Magnetars are the
strongest magnets in the universe and are versions of neutron
stars in which magnetohydrodynamics process is ample to
generate such intense magnetism. Black holes are amongst these
weirdest astral ‘subjects’ that had meander our minds; now we
are in a verge to unravel bizarre phenomena behind them. At the
center of our sombrero Milky Way galaxy there is a
