who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”All the angels were standing around the throne and around the
elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces
before the throne and worshiped God, saying:“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”(Revelation 7:9–12)These are beautiful words, powerful words. They are words worth
memorizing and placing in our hearts so that any time we are
tempted to feel that we’ve got dead-end lives, we can enter that scene
of ultimate worship and prayer and praise. We can remember that
we are already on our way to a spiritual high that will never end. If
we belong to Jesus we will be among that great multitude singing the
awesome song of unending glory!
Father God, you are the great and glorious God in whom there is no
beginning and no end. You were, you are, and you are to come.
Thank you for the salvation that is ours because of what Jesus has
done on our behalf. We wait with joy for the day when we will enter
into your gates with thanksgiving and praise. Then we will worship
