group, asking God to work powerfully on behalf of you or someone
else? Is your faith the unshakable kind that Jesus had? Nothing in
the world is more faith building for others than to hear us speak out
boldly, trusting God to answer.
How can we come to that place of supreme confidence in the
Lord’s ability to answer our prayers? Only when we operate as con-
tainers of his Holy Spirit will we find that level of trust. Only when
we say with Paul, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer
live, but Christ lives in me” (Gal. 2:20).
As Jesus lives in us, he will also pray through us. The one who
calls us to pray with unshakable faith is the one who will pour out
his own faith in us and speak out his own prayer through us. The
one who calls us is faithful and he will do it! (1 Thess. 5:24)
Lord Jesus, I trust you to pray with power in and through me. Help
me not to worry about what words I will say to you, but teach me
simply to allow you to have your way in me. I trust you and I yield
