- In the Installation Confi guration Rules dialog, press Next.
- In the Ready to Install dialog, review the listing of features to be included in the
installation, especially noting the confi guration fi le path because that contains
information about the installation that may be helpful to resolve any installation
problems, and press Install.

The Analysis Services Confi guration dialog.After these steps have been successfully completed, a new Multidimensional and Data
Mining instance of SQL Server Analysis Services has been installed and is ready for use. You
may confi rm that the service has been installed and is successfully running by launching
SQL Server Confi guration Manager and selecting the SQL Server Services node from the
options within the left pane. Within the right pane of SQL Server Confi guration Manager,
you should see SQL Server Analysis Services (2012) with the State set to Running and the
Start Mode set to Automatic, as shown in Figure 54-3.■ (^) You can use the Analysis Services Server icons within Object Explorer to determine
the Server Mode, as shown in Figure 54-4.
