Add new connections as needed to perform maintenance tasks.The features of the Reporting and Logging dialog box enable you to send the report to
a fi le or to your e-mail. The e-mail feature works quite well and saves you the time of
searching for the fi le on the hard drive. However, the text fi le provides an archive that
could prove helpful long after you delete the e-mail from your inbox. Additionally you
can choose to centralize your logging by selecting the Log to remote server option. After
you confi gure the reporting options, click OK, and the maintenance plan records its
actions for you.Best Practice
You normally want to provide extended information about all maintenance tasks that the system per-
forms without your supervision. Even the smallest piece of information can help you determine where
