When you add the MSDTC resource, you add it to the same cluster group as SQL; it will be in the same group as the
dependency disk.

- Close the command prompt windows. MSDTC is now mapped as a service.
To confi rm that MSDTC was mapped correctly, open up another elevated command prompt,
and type MSDTC –tmMappingView *. This provides you with a list of all the MSDTC
mapped resources on the current server, as shown in Figure 29-14.

Adding a Node to an Existing SQL Server 2012 Failover Cluster
Because the whole point of clustering is to provide high availability, you now need to
install SQL Server 2012 to another node in the cluster so that it can failover in the event
