- Click Install. The Installation Wizard installs and adds the new node. When the
install is complete, you are presented with a fi nal screen that shows the success
status of each component as well as a link to the summary log fi le.
Testing Failover
After you have SQL Server 2012 installed on multiple nodes, you should take some time to
perform some failover testing scenarios.To do a manual failover test of SQL Server 2012, follow the next steps:- Open Server Manager. Expand the Features section, and right-click Failover Cluster
Manager. Right-click the SQL Server instance in the tree view. Select the Move This
Service or Application to Another Node option, and select the node that you want
to move to. Figure 29-15 shows the manual failover options.
