printed

from anothernegativemadeinaprovincialtown.

Lookingclosely,the

viewerrealizesthatthehouses

onbothsidesofthepicturearethesameimage,

the

negativewasprintedonce,thenfloppedandprinted

again.

Therightsidehasbeenmadedarkinprinting

tosimulateshadowsand

concealthevisualtrick.
