lbiach is celebrated as a highly experimental poet. Along with Claude
Royet-Journoud and Michel Couturier, she founded the journal Siècle
à mains. Her seminal translation of Louis Zukofsky’s ‘‘A’’-9 first ap-
peared in the review. During the 1960s Albiach lived in London. Principal works:
