Vilfredo Pareto (1848–1923)
Vilfredo Pareto was an Italian, born in Paris, and was trained to
be an engineer. Though he actually practised as an engineer,
he would later succeed Leon Walras to the Chair of Economics
in the Faculty of Law at the University of Lausanne.
