Pour the corn and cream mixture into a blender and blend* until
it’s a smooth puree.
Pour the puree back into the same pot (no need to clean it) and
add the rest of the corn. Add another generous pinch of salt and
pepper and cook over medium heat until the new addition of corn
softens a little. Taste for seasoning and texture and sprinkle in the
chives. Serve immediately.


* That “goodness” is the starch, which will help thicken the corn
puree.

* Be careful when blending anything hot; leave a hole at the top
for ventilation.
